THIS MURDER HAS BEEN SOLVED! CLICK HERE TO VISIT UPCOMING MURDER PAGES ... or FEEL FREE TO READ ON ABOUT THE RECENT, EXCITING MURDER AT MEIGS FIELD! Mayor Warren J. Weakley has ordered an old downtown airport closed due to “security concerns.” He is making a deal with the “Outfit” to put up a large casino in its place. At midnight the Mayor orders G Gordon Piddley, his loyal Chief of Staff, to “supervise the remodeling project.” Piddley orders trucks out on the tarmac. The union boys love their work so they play a little game of tick- tack-toe with Xs and Os.
Wilma Weekley, the Mayor’s wife is undecided about Northerly Island and has called in her personal clairvoyant, Madame Babushka to advise her about building a magnificent park.

"Murder at Meigs Field" features 12 Chicago actors starring in what will prove to be a lively evening of interactive theatre and political fun. Arlene Kahn is the associate producer and familiar faces will populate the stage as characters in the play. Paul Warshauer has written and directed over 140 murder mystery plays from Alaska to Florida. He says that he “loves Chicago ... if you can’t poke fun at your own town, you should live in Oregon!” Ironically he created the formula for these interactive murder mysteries at an Italian Restaurant in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Warshauer has been involved in some unusual dealings here in Chicago himself with the Uptown and Portage Park Theatres. But this murder, he says, “is all for fun. The audience gets to listen to clues, wander around the theatre, cross-examine the suspects, then vote for who they think ‘dunnit!’ Murder weapons are everywhere so the audience must sort out the red herrings from the real thing.”
